Progress in small steps.

Well its been about a month since my last entry, and seeing that its raining all day, I thought it perfect timing for a few words on what's happening for the Ministry. Since the purchase of buying an assortment of decks made with Canadian Hard Rock Maple, I've been busy road testing all the decks, with different set-ups of trucks/ bushings/ and wheels. To my surprise my favorite deck is now a top mount, with micro drops, just under 37" long. It's 9" 7/8" up front and 9" 3/8" in back. Photo is worth a thousand words, so when the sun busts out, I'll take a few shots and post images. I make mention of the deck, because I never thought I'd feel comfortable on a top mount deck, since I'm 56 and skateboarding was never my cup of tea in the past. Two wheel sports have dominated my life, until  circumstances (God's hand) put me on a course to discover Longboarding. At present, I'm running out the door at every opportunity to rip down some hills. Its like Snowboarding for me, without paying the ridiculous costs of lift tickets at the resorts. Anyway getting back to my personal progression of riding a top mount as it relates to my title of "Progress In Small Steps". Getting the most performance out of a skateboard took like 5 years for me to get to this point. I started on a Ripstick, to prove to some snot nose kid, that i could ride it. One thing led to another, and here I am, feeling like I'm owning the streets (at least in my mind, due to the rush i get doing it!). So to what does any of this relate to, other than old guy gets a little better skating and is very happy! I'll tell you, it absolutely relates to my awesome life with Jesus Christ, which is available to anyone willing to take the small steps necessary, for a personal relationship with the King and receive all of what God desires us to have. It would take a book for me to elaborate on all the blessings I've received from God, and another book detailing all the promises and gifts that are still to come. As an ambassador for God, I urge you as Christ himself were speaking to you (Its my job from God to speak Truth from the Bible, without any personal agenda of my own). Be reconciled to the Lord by taking the steps necessary to know Jesus personally. I'm just a messenger, revealing an inheritance from God, that is available to those willing to take the steps necessary to achieve and receive this. Without any hesitation, I can say that nothing in this world, can compare to knowing/ believing/ and feeling/ the presence of God's love, through the relationship available to us, by trusting his Son/ King Christ Jesus/ Lord of Lords! In the Bible God says this; Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. And you might ask yourself, how do i get faith? The answer from the Holy Bible is this; Romans 10:17 (ESV) 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. And a comparison of this verse in another Bible translation KJV (King James Version) written in the 16th century; Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I encourage you to take the steps of reading a Holy Bible such as; KJV King Jame Version/  NLT New Living Translation/ or ESV English Standard Version. God makes it very clear on how to find him; Proverbs 8:17 (ESV) I love those who love me, And those who seek Me diligently find me.To make your study easier, a Scripture Guide book is available on this website, and its free. Be humble and pray to God, for his help in guiding you through his Word. I've been very blessed to have had the conviction put on my heart, to do these simple steps since I was eighteen. 38 years of walking in his light, is priceless in value, worth more to me, than anything the world has to offer.
