A heartfelt thanks to Jet Skateboards for their generosity in sending me an envelope full of stickers. Their web servers are currently being updated, otherwise I would provide a link to their online store. The cost of stickers these days is through the roof at the local stores. So when I saw the variety and cool design on what they sent me for the ministry, it was definitely a boost for my spirit. When I originally sent out a request for support to them, I was thinking it was a long-shot for a response, since I had never had prior contact. As it turns out they were totally cool on sending me some love.
Raising inventory for the outreach longboard ministry has been a journey this year, but I'm committed to this project by God's strength, no matter how long it takes. And every time I'm able to get a little closer to launching this endeavor, I find great satisfaction. Stickers might not seem like such a big deal, however they color the blank blem boards I buy, to raise money for the financial end of things. And these wood sleds look 10 times better with legitimate stickers that are cool.
In the Bible there is this Scripture that says; Philippians 4:6-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. This is one of many Scriptures from God that helps me to continue to move forward with prayer in whatever I'm able to do, and not to worry about it. Contacting Jet Skateboards was done through my faith in Jesus, knowing that if it was meant to be positive it would happen.
I read about Jet Skateboards in Concrete Wave, when they were talking about their Trucks and I liked what they represented, which was Skaters who design product for skaters. And of course their product was something I'll be looking for down the road, when I have cash in hand. Then a short time later I was blessed with buying a blem Jet deck at Muir Skate, which I really liked. So when I asked God for some extra support, Jet Skateboards was on my heart to contact. Never sure on how things are going to turn out, but rather than worry about it, I just sent a letter, that was responded by them with kindness. So big shout out to Jet Skateboards, and thank you Lord for directing me to them and may you bless them with protection/ prosperity/ and most importantly fellowship with you!
