Some exciting news for the expansion of Skateboard product for the Ministry. Its been a couple weeks since I received the call from Canada, but its something that has tremendously blessed me. Putting all the pieces together with God's direction has taken faith on my part to just act on what i believe the Lord is telling me to do. So when I pray that I need better decks for the Outreach clinics, its my responsibility to look for them.
So a few months back, i sent out a few letters to Skateboard companies, hoping to receive a little support. As the weeks unfolded from that point, I was very blessed to get some envelopes of stickers which I sincerely appreciated. My last sticker pack came from DADDIES board shop, so another shout out thank you to them!
But I still was searching for some Solid Hard Rock Maple decks. Well one night after a little xbox gaming with my wife, I was a little restless after playing Borderlands with her, so I started another search for Skateboard Deck Manufacturers in Canada, and as it turns out, one company has a distribution warehouse center in Southern California. So I e-mailed them a request to purchase some decks, which on my wavelength was a long-shot for a response. Thankfully though, I've learned to trust the Lord and just do my best, because i know anything is possible with his blessing on it.
So to my extraordinary surprise, I was totally shocked to get a call from Canada the next day, asking about my Ministry and getting an invitation to purchase product. Of course i went to the Distribution center which was full of racks of Longboard decks, and made a purchase of over 20 decks at a price which i could afford, thanks to my Dad & Mom who are highly supportive.
After a week of testing the decks, I'm now attached to a new top mount design with micro drops that is accelerating my fun and ability. Going through the progression of all the deck designs, is an aspect of the ministry that is intended to bless those who I give Clinics to. So another major shout out to the Lord, for answering my prayers and touching the hearts of those in Canada to help me! Its also a privilege for me, to keep that Company in my prayers, including those who work there. Thank you to all those involved in blessing this ministry!
God's timing is absolutely perfect, in that I needed a top mount deck i liked, in order to give a clearer picture on deck progression for the Clinics I'm preparing to do. Living with the awareness of God's power in my life, is truly humbling, and encourages me to just keep doing my best. And may the good Lord bless all who cross my path, with knowledge/ wisdom/ and faith in the Word of Truth (Holy Bible) to a richer life in the presence and fellowship of King of Kings/ Jesus Christ, by the grace of God's love for us through his Son!
