Omen longboards promises support for Skate ministry

Just recently received a sweet sticker pack from Omen longboards with a promise to collect used decks from employees and possibly send some blem decks. I say possibly on the blems, since I've read their quality is consistently producing. Omen is up in Seattle Washington and I encourage anyone reading this, to check out their website; omenlongboards.com as they have some excellent Longboard decks they design and build, which are incredibly sweet looking with performance as a priority.
Getting recognized by such a cool company is another amazing blessing that I thank God for. If anyone had ever suggested to me, that major companies would help facilitate a youth skate outreach I've be called to run, i would of told them their nuts. My lesson in this situation, is to not restrict God's power to make things happen, by setting up limitations in my thinking. Speaking honestly, I'll share that I was resolved to go prospecting in the Eastern Sierra's for Gold in the Spring time, if finances were lacking to launch this ministry properly. But as the days continue to unfold, God continues to lead me forward.
Another aspect of support for this ministry, is in God's help preparing me for teaching the Clinics. I've been guided to some new streets that is a tremendous asset to improve my longboarding. And Truth be told, that I'm simply amazed at what God is allowing me to acheive and perform, on this battered body of crashes from the life I've lived on two wheels. So when the Lord says nothing is impossible with him, I'm sticking to that! God's word is tremendously amazing and powerful and useful to anyone that believes it as being the Truth. Until the next entry, God's blessing's and grace to all that honor him, and may his love also continually be revealed to those without faith, in order for them to acknowledge what is truly real! For God is Love!

God leads the ministry into Video

I've questioned whether chronicling the outreach was of any value to anyone besides myself, and decided that if it encourages one person to follow what they believe God is directing them to do, then I'm good with recording the events of this journey. So today's entry is about God confirming an idea i entertained, as i was wondering what i could do, for those who support  the ministry outreach.
Well for starters, asking anyone to help is a little humbling, as I've always worked to provide for whatever I needed. And when Riptide Sports said they would help the ministry, I asked God how i could bless them for their support. Its been amazing to see the Lord answer this prayer so swiftly, with the culmination of events in the last week. The idea placed on my heart was making Videos on Longboard  skating instruction for YouTube and Vimeo.
I've been watching a ton of Videos, and thought a niche was open to teach and demonstrate what an old guy has learned to encourage other beginners of all ages. Not only instructional videos, but also Demo all kinds of Skateboard product. And of course this would give me the opportunity to give props to those who help the ministry.
My first obstacle was getting a GoPro Camera. One idea on acquiring this, was to list one of my better Skateboards in the Barter section of Craig's, but I rejected this, since I didn't want someone's jacked up Camera in trade. As destiny by God's grace would have it, someone contacted me for a cash sale for a skateboard, and then he asked if i knew anyone that needed a GoPro 3 Black plus, since he upgraded to the GoPro4. I told him maybe? Well God knows I would never trade for electronic stuff, If my son couldn't check it out, and amazingly he was visiting from Texas. Obviously he checked it out and gave it a thumbs up, so GoPro is in the inventory.
I could easily continue this story with details on support from having a volunteer cameraman available for shooting Video. Friends and family donating Video software and Class 10 memory card. Volunteer Pro tech support on everything like; editing software/ wifi connection camera to phone/ updating video card/ updating camera version/ Updating drivers on computer/ etc.
Trying to keep this short, I'll close by saying that God is truly amazing in making this all happen so swiftly and I'm very encouraged and motivated to begin shooting footage and presenting videos with a flavor of Scripture to the world. I desire to praise God in the name of his precious Son Jesus Christ, for allowing me to serve him with this ministry as he unfolds how i should be doing it, through his Word and life events in his control!

Riptide Sports commits to support outreach ministry.

I've just received an e-mail from the President of Riptide Sports, saying they would send some goods to help the ministry. I met Mr. Miller at the closed gate at a recent IGSA World Cup Longboard Down Hill race at Pala CA, not knowing who he was. And as destiny would have it, we ended up talking the following day, when I learned of his company then. Its not my style to ask for help, but more than a few times during the race weekend, people said i should seek assitance from the industry, as they would probably help support the youth skate outreach. So i just put it out there, if i could contact him in the future, which i then did through an e-mail. And today Riptide Sports said they would help the ministry. Keeping this blog real, I must admit that I've never been sure on how I was ever going to fulfill a 30 year vision i had of helping our younger generation, and getting older wasn't helping to accomplish this vision. However when God puts his hand on it, the pieces begin to fit. And my age has nothing to do with anything.  I'm being led by the Lord to facilitate an outreach longboard ministry. And even though I'm seriously perplexed, that I'm not doing it through bmx as this is my history. God is taking me in a direction he chose, and i couldn't be happier. Just recently I began doing toe side brake checks with confidence, consistently. This might seem inconsequential to most, but I'm 56 years old with a long history of personal ground impacts from racing 2 wheel sports. Through his divine grace, I'm being re-programmed into a freeride DH long-boarder, to facilitate an outreach skate ministry. Praise God, as he says nothing is impossible with him, and I humbly state, that I'm living proof of this. Final words of this day, thank you Mr President of Riptide Sports, for your Support, and thank you God for your blessing's.

The longboard outreach begins its chronicles

October first 2014 and Jesus Rules ministry launches its blog on an outreach longboard skate ministry for kids with financial hardship and for those who have made bad life decisions. The dream of helping our younger generation, to personally know God, by living an example to them, has been on my heart for 30 years now. Since I have just begun seeking outside support for additional skateboard inventory, I thought it would be appropriate to begin chronicling the journey. Last year I gave the proposal to Rancho Del Campo, of doing something positive for the kids with good behavior. They were receptive of the offer, especially since I've had my life experience there, when i was a troubled kid. The purpose of this blog, is to document the miracle of God's divine power, as he works through all our lives to accomplish something i believe I've been guided to facilitate.

    Preacher/ Michel Landegent

This ministry is the culmination of a journey that started 30 years ago. At the age of 26, I had the crazy desire to start a youth ministry in Sacramento CA.
As God would have it, my time had not arrived, and the Christian bmx camp nose dived into the dust. Looking back at all the lessons and tests that I needed to pass, in order to get to this point in my life, is truly amazing. As I continue to follow God's guidance, I will document the unfolding of this ministry as it happens.
